Friar sells shares to Hill-Wood

On 27th March 2007, Arsenal Holdings plc (the “Company”) received notification that Kenneth Friar OBE, a Director of the company, has transferred one hundred and fifty two shares in the Company to Peter Hill-Wood, a Director of the company, at a zero price per share.

This transaction increases Peter Hill-Wood’s beneficial interest in the shares of the Company to 500 ordinary shares, representing 0.80% of the Company’s issued ordinary shares and decreases Kenneth Friar OBE’s beneficial interest in the shares of the Company to 47 ordinary shares, representing 0.07% of the Company’s issued ordinary shares.

Arsenal shares are currently trading between £6550 (bid) and £6,800 (asking).

Some sources say Stan Kroenke is likely to get the 9.9% ITV holding, despite denials from his camp.
