I must say I can feel no sympathy for Spuds, none at all.
Already a few of my friends and colleagues who are Spuds have used the excuse that Dembele & Alli were suspended.
Whose fault was that? No one except those Tottenham players .
Alli has been getting away with many little things all season. A fine fine player with great future but needs to grow up. You play first team football now, you must act like a professional on the pitch.
As for Dembele, what he did was disgusting.
Diego Costa, I know you love him Myles, is a dirty, niggly player who is a wind-up merchant but you still cannot gouge a fellow pro’s eye out and Dembele tried to do that.
2 players should constitute a total breakdown.
Arsenal have been poor after the Xmas & January period, conspiring to throw away a potential title challenge. But Arsenal had Cazorla, Wilshere, Coquelin, Welbeck all out with surgical or long-term injuries through the season, plus Ramsey, Cech, Rosicky, Arteta, Sanchez, Ox etc out as well.
Also one last point, the reason Arsenal fans enjoy St Totteringham Day so much is utter triumphalism that the Spuds take every season where it is likely that they finish above Arsenal, the 5-2’s, the mind the gap t-shirts, lasagna-gate, why oh why do they insist in celebrating before the fat lady has sung yet?
It is not like it is the first or 2nd or even the 3rd time. This has happened 21 times now and they still keep doing it!
A touch of humility and respect might make them a bit more popular among fans up and down the country.
They have glamour of a big club but have never done much in the Premiership era or won the league since ’61.
Perhaps they should pipe down a touch, know their place and consider this: the best Spurs team in years couldn’t surpass the worst Arsenal team in years.
The league table doesn’t lie, as much as we would like it to.

My summer will be tennis and football and film work.
We have two music documentaries. One ‘s British and could be an award-winning story if we do it right. After that we’ll do a biopic on the guy and publish a memoir (already written).
The other music doc is very ambitious and will be filmed in the USA.
For the last four years we’ve been working on a slate of features and the first one may be filmed in Cuba.
We’ve just started talking to investors and one’s very interested and we have another meeting today.
Summer is nice so far.
Winter ended in April when my two little robins disappeared.
All through February and March one robin sat on the handle of the kitchen door every morning at 7.15 when it was cold outside.
He looked in, watching me, waiting to be fed.
Then his mate took to hovering and looking in while the other one sat on the door handle watching me put Greek yoghurt in a bowl, add blueberries, cinammon and honey, before taking it into the lounge to fast-forward through Sky Sports News.
One morning I was grumpy and swore at the robin.
I said,”This is my fucking breakfast.Your breakfast comes later.”
I still fed them that day and every day. And when Jan got up, she fed them again.
What Spurs did was very unprofessional and immature.
I really hope they’ve learned from that.
I’ve gone off Diego Costa but he’s better than Falcao, Pato or Remy.
Dembele did NOT try to gouge his eye out.
If Dembele has put his finger into Costa’s eye, the cartoon villain would have been on the deck screaming in spasms, as if he’d been electrocuted.
