Wenger reckons he can beat West Brom, Norwich & Sunderland

The manager has talked about giving Alexis Sanchez a break before Arsenal’s Xmas games.

Before saying that he’d looked closely at his fixtures.

As I keep saying, the only certain thing a manager has is his fixtures.

He knows when they are, and where they are, and how close together they are, so he looks at his travel plans and his recovery times – and hopes for the best. But he doesn’t know which players will be available for those games.

He’s looked at West Brom on Saturday, Norwich the following Sunday, and Sunderland at the Emirates on December 12th and said: We can do that!

He’s noted that Man City’s next two games are against Liverpool and Southampton and thought: they could drop points.

Real Madrid want Alexis Sanchez, so Arsenal will give him a new contract worth almost £40 million?

Fine!

Alexis was underpaid last season. He carried the team and the supporters.

When Wenger said he was going to give Alexis a rest before the upcoming Christmas games, he did that because he figures he could win these three games without his Chilean warrior.

Myself, I’ve loved this international break.

12 games gave me lots to chew over.

I feel fresh and really up for the weekend’s games.

It’s a fight for everybody.

Man City are fighting to win back the title they lost to Chelsea.

Arsenal are fighting to stay level with Citeh, hoping they lose a game or two.

Leicester are third and playing well enough to be win at Newcastle, although they could also lose.

Man of the moment Dele Alli will be in the Spurs midfield at 4pm on Sunday when they play West Ham.

Alli is a sensible lad who won’t fazed by the hype. He doesn’t think he’s arrived because nobody arrives in November. Like every other player, he is on a journey.

The Super Sunday headliner will be a very interesting contest.

Pochettino and Bilic are good coaches.
