After Munich meltdown, will Arsenal turn up for Spurs derby?

Do I think Arsenal will bounce back by beating Spurs?

Local derby on Sunday.

It’s a more important  game to Spurs fans, who think they’re Arsenals rivals.

Gooners don’t think that because Arsenal have won the title twice at White Hart Lane since Spurs last won the league in 1961 and they’ve also won the title at Old Trafford.

For me Spurs will never be credible rivals to Arsenal until they play them in a Champions League knock-out game.

Do you expect Arsenal to beat Spurs? I usually do.

But not this time. Could easily be a draw.

Sanchez, Arsenal’s best player, hasn’t done much in his last four games.

Giroud will probably bottle it.

In Munich, Arsenal didn’t turn up and got hammered 5-1.

Bayern 5 Colney Creche 1.

Lewandowski scored after 10 minutes.
When Muller’s shot ricocheted off the ground and Mertesacker’s knee for 2-0, the “contest” was over.
Alaba’s bender from distance was far too good for Cech – or any goalkeeper.

So it was 3-0 at half-time.
Arjen Robben came on for Douglas Costa and made it 4-0 after being on the pitch for 32 seconds.
Giroud got a goal back after a tidy chest trap followed by a good shot.

The finish of the night was Thomas Muller’s second goal, after a breakaway dribble and a beautifully-placed sidefoot shot inside the post.

Very few players in the Champions League could have scored that goal in that way from where he was.

I knew Bayern Munich would batter Arsenal because they were angry after losing 2-0 on Matchday 3.

Those players have pride as well as technique, ambition as well as expertise.

Still love Matchday 4.

Neymar & Suarez are hot, Rabiot hit the post against Real Madrid in a game PSG didn’t deserve to lose, the improved Willian scored a late winner for Chelsea against Kiev.

In Seville, Raheem came good for Man City.

I’m told that a Brazilian back home thinks Pellegrini played Fernandinho in his best position for the first time ever.
