Arsenal’s latest gamble in Brazil

Pedro Silva is 17 and was born in Brazil ´s Northeast and raised as a player in the South.

This boy, who is now loaned by Arsenal to Salamanca in Spain, is another gamble by the Gunners in Brazil.

He was spotted last May when Arsenal ´s scouts saw him training for Figueirense, one of Brazil’s most stable clubs and current runners up of our FA Cup.

He was invited to come to England, where he saw a derby against Chelsea and trained for a few days.

His mentor in Brazil is the closest thing available on earth to George Graham, so if he plays for the liberal Arsene Wenger he will suffer culture shock!
