Johan Djourou, I’m sorry

I get annoyed by things footballers do.

Sometimes  I get very annoyed by things footballers do.

But I should not  have been so rude about those two foul throws by Johann Djourou.

The following morning, after writing at midnight when I was tired and angry, I should have read that paragraph again and deleted it.

Overall, I don’t mind what fans say about me and I don’t mind what players think of me. And I certainly don’t mind what bloggers write about me.

All of us can be criticised. I don’t mind abuse and often deserve it.

However, I should make it clear that when Myles Palmer realises he has written something which is COMPLETELY OUT OF ORDER, he is big enough to apologise.

Johan Djourou, I’m sorry.

You’re a damn fine footballer and I’m very impressed by what you’ve achieved so far, and I wish you all the best for the future. I hope you play 400 games for Arsenal and 82 for Switzerland.

And now I’m gonna have some lunch and watch Man United v Bolton.
