WHY IS Arsenal’s defensive record so good lately ?
1. Senderos : he makes people round him look solid.
2. Gilberto : has been badly missed.
3. Has somebody been working with the back five?
PEOPLE seem to be warming to the FA Cup Final this year.
It’s bigger for Arsenal because it’s Manchester United.
And it’s bigger for United because it’s Arsenal.
And of course it’s a dream event for ticket touts because it’s Manchester United v Arsenal.
LIVERPOOL will need an early goal to beat Chelsea at Anfield next Tuesday night.
The longer it goes without a goal, the less I fancy Liverpool to make it through to Istanbul.
BOLTON v Chelsea is the Sky game at 5.15 on Saturday.
Gooners don’t like Big Sam’s bruisers but they will be cheering them tomorrow.
Mourinho will rest a few players. Expect the barracuda Kezman to start. He came on as a sub and kicked Jimmy Traore in 15 seconds.
And I’m told Mourinho punched his own palm when Kezman perpetrated that foul.
