Last week Roberto Mancini said, “If I played with Balotelli, I’d punch him in the face.”
What?
You signed him, Roberto.
You managed him at Inter and then brought him over here.
It’s all about man-management and Mancini has pissed off so many players this season. He’s too authoritarian, so he de-motivates his millionaires.
He’s lost Milner, Johnson, Tevez and Dzeko, among others, while over-praising Yaya Toure, who is, I think, a wonderful match-winner when he’s at his best.
And of course Mancini fell out with Carlos Tevez last September and lost his services for six month.
Man City have big problems. They’re off-form. They’ve wobbled so much that they could finish third if they lose today.
Right now, I think Mancini will finish second and keep his job. If he finishes third, who knows?
Can’t see today’s game being a 0-0 like last season. City parked the bus and bored us to tears.
Van Persie versus Kompany and Lescott wil be interesting, if RVP gets a nice pass or three.
Gervinho is rubbish, just pitiful, so I’m expecting Oxlade to start and play well.

In 357 games for United, Wayne Rooney has scored 175.
