Busted flush Wenger has lost the dressing room

Spurs 1 Manchester City 5

Manchester United 8 Arsenal 2

Any other club in English football would sack Arsene Wenger tonight.

And Rice and Primorac, obviously.

Clearly, the media are culpable. The press have failed to point out the obvious for years.

As Andy Dunn admitted on the Sunday Supplement this morning, Wenger has had a very easy ride from the press for the last 15 years.

Embedded reporters and gravy train Sky pundits have ignored that fact that Wenger has systematically destroyed Arsenal’s history and finest traditions, the very DNA of London’s biggest club.

And replaced it with a rabble of delusional athletes who live in a bubble he creates around them.

Vermaelen does not belong there. The Belgian is a proper footballer. Jack Wilshere and Szczesny should be at a proper football clubs. So should Ramsey and Sagna.

Tragic to see those dopey supporters at Old Trafford, after an 8-2 humiliation that could have been 15-2, still holding up a banner that said,” In Arsene we trust.”

Guys, are you on drugs?

Arshavin should have been sent off twice!

My Gooner friends went very quiet after the game.

Only had three phone calls.

The first friend said, “Barnet are North London’s biggest club!”

I had asked him a question on Saturday night.

I said, “How many will United score?”

His reply was, “Pick a number between one and 49.”

My second friend said, “I put £400 on Man United, it was like picking money up off the street.

“It’s obvious he’s lost the dressing room. He’s a busted flush. After Udinese. He said, ” This proves we can compete! Arsenal are eight players short. All those gullible idiots are being mugged ! They put prices up by 6.5%.

“He has nothing to say to anybody. He can’t get away with this ! He wrote the book on voodoo management. What does he know about football that I don’t know?”

My third caller asked, “Did you see what Paul Merson said?”

“No.”

“This is no time to get rid of Arsene Wenger.”

“When will there be a better time? Four or five weeks back, I said : Arsenal cannot improve while Wenger is there.”

“He won’t be bombed out. The board don’t want him out. The media don’t want him out.”

—————–

Nothing more to say, really.

At any other club in England, Wenger would have been sacked on Sunday night.

Why did that not happen?Because Wenger has too much power. What have I been saying for three years or more? Wenger has too much power. Wenger has too much power.

Wenger has far too much power.
