And I’m sure your inbox was flooded with replies to my post from Gooners in their red and white colored glasses, spouting the same old drivel like: “If you were a true Gooner you would get behind the manager and support these players.”
NO SIR!
I AM a diehard Gooner but I refuse to support the likes of the wondrous Denilson, Aluminium, Diaby, Bendtner, Eboue, et al anymore!
RUBBISH IS AS RUBBISH DOES!
The “true” Gooners are the ones who have had enough of this lot and we DEMAND change!

Correction: Wenger WAS great. 7 years ago. The man hasn’t been great for 7 years!
The time has come, the era is over. He took us to the heights, or the brink of the heights, but let’s be honest; we’re treading water now and could soon be plumbing the depths unless we get a regime change.
He’s taken us as far as he could take us and is anyone surprised that our season always blows up on all fronts in the space of a few weeks every Spring? Surely not…
It’s happened every Spring due to injuries, bad luck, poor decisions, fixture congestion and f*ck all else for the last 5 or 6 seasons.
Every year the same thing…..and the same excuses and the same promises.
Our great club has always been best defined by the eras of our greatest managers.
Championship-winning managers. Strong, authoritative and innovative managers.
The Chapman era.
The Allison era.
The Whittaker era.
The Mee era.
The Graham era.
And arguably the most successful of all: The Wenger era.
But other than winning titles, the common thread is that they all come to an end.
One way or another, they all end.
And sadly, in the cold light of day, we must all admit that this one is at the end.
In fact, quite a bit past it’s sell-by date, regardless of our love and admiration for what the great man did for us 7 TO 10 YEARS AGO.
