Wenger 3 Klopp 3 : two beautiful losers

A pulsating game that neither team deserved to win.

So Arsene FC dropped two points at home.

And Klopperpool let slip a 2-0 lead to draw yet again.

Arithmetic: 8 draws in 19 games is 16 points lost.

And if Liverpool draw 8 of their next 19 games, they’ll throw away 32 points in a 38-match Premier League campaign.

Professional English football originated as the cultural expression of the Northern working class and I still I enjoy Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher.

They are two passionate Northern defenders who know what they’re talking abut.

Last night Sky made the Friday Night Football more immediate by doing their pre-match on the pitch, rather than in the studio, and doing the post-match interviews on the pitch.

Gary Neville’s verdict was from the pitch. And so was Carra’s.

And those two don’t leave the hacks much to write about.

Talking in the heat of the moment, GNev & Carra told the truths that journalists tiptoe round.

Carragher said Liverpool haven’t had  a Premier League keeper for the last four or five years.

Gary Neville said, “Once you change your two keepers, you put doubt in both minds. Rotating keepers is madness.”

Juregn Klopp himself had to admit,”Three goals at Arsenal should be enough.”

Last night, this rant from my Gooner buddy Colin in San Diego :

In his post-match comments, Klopp said “At we should have scored 1, 2 or 3 more”. WTF? If I was John Henry I’d be livid. At 2-0 the game is won you dummkopt!! You just sit and organize and let Arsenal play tippy tappy sideways in front of you into oblivion, and then hit them on the break in the 2nd half and win 3-1 or 3-0 easily. That’s how Wenger’s 1998 – 2004 teams did it before he completely lost the plot and became the maniacal, idiotic, anti-coach, scumbag dictator we all despise.

Oh my God. I just heard Wenger say “The spirit is great again” for the millionth time! Groundhog Day Wenger hell. But Klopp is waaaaaaay overrated. Jeez, I should have been a coach. All these moronic managers make the easy so frickin difficult.
