Football on Sunday?
Two teams who can’t make the CL quarter-finals?
Meeting at the Emirates Stadium.
And before that, football on Saturday too!
Don’t seem to have done much this week and had not remembered it’s Evelyn Waugh at 9pm on BBC1.
I put the SKYHD box on Series Record and then forgot all about Decline and Fall till half an hour ago.
Tuesday I did pilates and took Jan to Tate Modern.
We saw the Rauschenberg and Elton’s collection of photographs.
It was rather lovely to see a portrait of the sly Noel Coward between Joe Louis and Duke Ellington.
Always enjoy the Tate at night when not many people are there and the members bar is quiet and you can look over the river at St Paul’s.
Thursday afternoon, Miran and I filmed Jeff Dexter again.
Big fun, as always.
But how did Friday night arrive so quickly?
When we go to Berlin or Bruges or Split, I always read a Waugh novel or a P.G. Wodehouse.
I like to feel English and a good comic novel suits my carefree mood.
Let’s hope this series is good….
