From aGooner:
How on earth are Man City producing revenue of more than us when they charge less than half our ticket prices?
We should be miles ahead of City, Chelsea, Liverpool et al with our vast earnings potential and ‘worldwide’ commercial activities. Truth is, we are under-performing off the pitch (as well as on it).
Man City’s season tickets prices start at about £299, Arsenals start at over £1,000. M.C.’s most expensive non hospitality season ticket is £900, ours is over £2,000.
And then there is Club Level: Arsenal make more money from Club Level at the Emirates on a match day than they made on a match day from the whole of Highbury.
So really we should be streets ahead of all clubs BAR Man Utd.
One can only assume that Arsenal make absolutely fuck all from their restaurants on club level (as they did a bad deal with the caterer, Delaware North, when they built the stadium).
So Arsenal make about £130m – £150m from match days, they get about £150m from TV revenue alone so they must do an absolutely pants job of getting additional commercial income in.
It’s another story that needs some work, thought and analysis.

Can an ANR reader with a business head add to these observations?
