From Dave : Giroud’s celebration
Quoting from http://untold-arsenal.com/archives/58996
“It took 63 seconds from the time Giroud’s goal against Preston was scored, to the moment Preston kicked off again.
It took 49 seconds for Bournemouth to kick off after Arsenal’s second goal.
It took 45 seconds for Bournemouth to kick off after Arsenal’s first goal.
But it only took 43 seconds from the moment Giroud scored against Bournemouth to the restart of the match by Bournemouth players.”
I was unhappy with his celebration. It was a great recovery, albeit from a poor start..
I feel our biggest failure is allowing the opposition to have so much time on the ball. We need to be more urgent and, yes, sideways passes in the penalty box are not always best.
We get hurt when the opposition is more direct.
Myles says:
If so Dave, gooners will hope that Swansea, now managed by Paul Clement, mirror Arsenal’s style tomorrow.
If Swansea keep playing seven passes across the pitch, Arsenal should win 2-0.
