I feel sorry for Gooners, having to read this kind of tosh all summer.
Eboue’s agent Franjo Vranjkovic believes he will remain at Arsenal unless an offer from a big club comes in.
Eboue lost his place in Wenger’s team last season and could leave, some say. Reports in Italy suggest Roma and Fiorentina are preparing bids, they say.
Amazingly, Wenger has offered Eboue a new four-year contract. Having just renewed your season ticket, you want to hear that, right?
His agent, who is also resident on Planet Eboue, says: “I honestly think that Fiorentina and Roma aren’t at Eboue’s level. The two clubs are not among the top ones in Italy, that’s the reality of it. But if any of the Milan clubs or Juventus come after him, that could change things. Inter have never contacted us but if they should call us we would be in Italy without any problems. But no one has called me.”
I wonder why.
Roll on, Wimbledon. I don’t watch Twenty20 but I like Andy Murray.
