From David : that boring list of missed targets
Myles,
What difference does it make when the manager sits before cameras and goes on reminding us how he missed out on Lukaku, Payet, et al?
Obviously the list is endless. He’s also “missed out” on Thuram, Makelele, Benzema, Cristiano Ronaldo, Drogba, Essien, Evra, Di Maria, and dozens of other players.
I’ve keenly noted that very few managers say such stuff as consistently as this one. So why does he? Does he wanna show us how intelligent he is/was? Me thinks it actually highlights a particular failure on his part.
So the season crumbled AGAIN! Hands up to those surprised by this development!!
My wonder is what he’s got to say about this latest failure.
All this past while, the favourable explanation was about the big-spending Manchester clubs, plus Chelsea getting involved in financial doping (never mind Arsenal have been reporting a couple of losses lately) to buy success. This, surely, isn’t the case with Leicester and Tottenham.
Otherwise I’m fine, and appreciate your good work brother.

You forgot the teenage Zlatan.
Wenger doesn’t annoy me any more.
Not since his sloppy squad ambled on to inspect the Wembley pitch in casual clothes, some wearing headphones, before losing to Birmingham.
Yes, David, talking about players he hasn’t signed annoys Gooners intensely.
This garrulous snob says: “I’ve been watching Martial since he was 12, but he was too expensive.”
I’m told that Martial was sold to Monaco for £4m.
Sports editors should not print his drivel.
Unfortunately, football is a star system and access journalism has become an arena where hacks humiliate themselves daily by grovelling at the feet of the famous.
