Just like to say, I’ve been reading Arseblog since he started- when it was still “Arseblog- it’s fucking excellent “- I even met his mate Tom at the Man United final, as I had a “it’s fucking” excellent T shirt on….
Back in the day, he was proper, and slagged off Wenger, the owners, the board, everyone who deserved it……then he became popular, probably figured out he needed to stay in with the club, took out the “it’s fucking excellent” bit, and sucked up to Wenger and the club for the next few years.
Obviously the guy who wrote in doesn’t know all that- in a way, I suppose you can’t blame him- he was glad to be “in” with the club. But surely, as any kind of writer, you have to stay true ?
I posted on Arseblog on line a while back, that he’d sold out etc….he didn’t like it, and answered my post very off handedly.
I suppose the best you can say of him now, is that he got honest for a day or two……I read it today though, and he’s sort of gone back a few degrees……not to blow smoke- but I’d rather read you and le grove and Kevin Whitcher any day of the week, rather than any sycophantic wanker, who makes sure he doesn’t put the clubs back up -keep it real mate !

I read Le Grove too. Only met him once.
We happened to be sitting next to each other at an AGM where there were HUNDREDS of people and we found the co-incidence…. rather amusing.
