He’s decided to let his team speak for him.
He’s cancelled his normal Friday press conference.
Today he prefers to say nothing, rather than attempt to re-explain his views on the 5-1 defeat at Spurs on Tuesday night, and his plans for Theo Walcott, and the ruck between Adebayor and Bendtner.
It’s hard for him to say nothing. I don’t think people will realise how hard it is for him to say nothing.
But he obviously thinks his team will make a statement for him on the pitch.
As PV4 used to say, the truth is on the pitch.
He has spent 11 years protecting his Arsenal team. He’s protected them with huge ingenuity, patience and stamina.
And it’s now time for the Arsenal team to protect the manager by making an emphatic statement on the pitch to blow all the doubts and neuroses away.
God help Kevin Keegan’s Newcastle tomorrow !
Personally, I’m not that impatient to see Arsenal win again.
They won 3-0 at Fulham six days ago, as I expected and predicted. Senderos is back. They should beat Newcastle 3-0.
