Arsenal will discover that Diego Costa is a big beast in home games

At Stamford Bridge, Costa is a 95-minute animal who is faster than he looks.

Very,very hard to contain.

Hazard knows how to play to him, Willian links well with his fellow Brazilian, while Pedro races beyond the big man to distract defenders.

And Fabregas, coming on in the second half, can find his mate with long passes.

Costa is the main man at Stamford Bridge these days. The fans cheer his every run, his every shot, his every gesture, and keep chanting “Diego! Diego!”

Yesterday Wenger told the hacks that N’Golo Kante is why Chelsea are top.

AT LAST! We agree on something.

I saw Kante play for Leicester on the last day of the last season, when Chelsea had already won the title.

That  game at Stamford Bridge was a 1-1 draw and Kante was the best player on the pitch by a mile.

Indeed, that was the day I realised he was the best player in the Premier League, because he has so much pace and energy and stamina, allied to terrific technique. Kante was a small and steely scorpion who won the ball again and again and used it beautifully. A proper one-man army.

Wenger has revealed that in the summer he was in for Kante, who preferred to join Chelsea from  Leicester.

But why didn’t he sign Kante from French League for peanuts?

Did scout Gilles Grimandi recommend Kante? I want to know.

Recently, when I saw Chelsea beat Stoke 4-2, they allowed Stoke to make it 1-1 and then allowed them to make it 2-2.

Eventually, Chelsea won 4-2 and their best player was Kante.

I can only we see one result here.

Maybe Sanchez and Welbeck will give the Chelsea defence a few hairy moments today.

We’ll soon find out.

It’s a 12.30 kick-off and we’ll know the teams 10 minutes from now.
